1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use similar technologies such as local storage for app preferences and service workers for push notifications.

2. Cookies we use

  • Session cookie (fw_session): essential — keeps you signed in. Duration: up to 30 days. HttpOnly.
  • Visitor cookie (digx_vid): analytics — anonymous unique visitor ID for page-view statistics. Duration: up to 1 year. HttpOnly.
  • OAuth state: short-lived tokens during Google or X sign-in to prevent CSRF.
  • Service worker / push: if enabled, stores subscription data in the browser for notifications.

3. Third-party cookies

When you sign in with Google or X, those providers may set their own cookies on their domains during authentication. We do not control third-party cookies.

4. Managing cookies

Essential cookies are required for login and security. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may stop working.

To opt out of analytics, block the visitor cookie in your browser or use private browsing — note this may affect how we count unique visitors only, not your account features.
